Well, it made me smile in a rather black way. I'll remember that one! (And I love the idea of Very Demotivational posters, since those twee Motivational ones of sunsets and mountains with platitudinous slogans tend to make me feel slightly ill.)
I guess it depends on how you define "funny." Glad you liked, in any event.
By the way you may enjoy the Despair line of calendars, posters, etc. The one above was an amateur-made thing on the theme, but this company actually has gone commercial with those anti-motivational stuff. I can waste hours browsing their site.
My sense of humour's got a very black side. Sometimes the only way to cope with some of the world's horrors is to find a way for humanity to laugh at its own idiocy.
I tend to go in for the truly absurd or just plain old immature. As evidenced by my comedic muse. (Which is making a return appearance for the latest BMEM piece: Bilbo and spicy foods.) As I have proved this month, when I go dark I tend to go for broke and just throw humor out the window...
Doesn't mean I don't love other peoples' sardonic sense of humor. It's just not the first association I have with the word.
