There's this guy at work who's been loving both "Doctor Who" and "Supernatural," which he's working through on Netflix. I mentioned to him casually that there was a lot of overlap between those two and "Sherlock."

His reaction was wasn't that the show I sometimes watched after-hours (I do, when I'm working late)? He said he'd try it because it only had nine episodes so it wasn't like it was going to take over his life or anything. I honestly don't know how to break it to him....

It will be interesting to see if he takes to it! I know the fandoms have a lot of overlap, but in some ways, the shows are quite different. For my part, I'm in love with Sherlock but have never been much interested in DW or SPN.
