I've been wanting to share thoughts but have beentoo tired to wrestle them into words, so I thought I'd try audio recording.

Is this audio file playable? And is there actually anyone interested in listening to me talk-talk as opposed to "talk" through written out blog posts?

More substantively... this was my day. A mix of too much noise and too much disrespect, and it really wore on me. I don't know if I'm being oversensitive though (there's a part of me insisting I just "man up"), so if anyone has any reactions or thoughts on this, I'd be interested to hear it.

Your recording is perfectly understandable, and it wouldn't bother me to 'read' an audio post.

You've now educated me about sound sensitivity. I Googled it and learned a lot.

I don't like a lot of noise either. I yearn for the quiet of my home after a while at any social occasion. Hugs.

Oooh, I with you there! Noise is probably biggest my Achilles heel.

As for listening to you talk-talk as opposed to type-talk, well... (points to the above.) I pretty much always prefer reading to listening. It drives me nuts when video is attached to online news, because it makes my world noisy, and I'd really rather just read the freakin' story. I text and email because phones (especially in the morning) drive me over the edge fairly quickly. I live alone because it's quiet. So, though it was interesting to hear your voice once (and it is a lovely voice), I doubt I'd be inclined to listen to an audio post every day, especially after an extra long day like today, when all I really ask from the world by the time I finally get home is as much silence as possible.

Of course, I also forgot to take Zoloft last night, so I'm a bit on edge anyways.

I'm always into listening/watching to people I like talking about their day!! Even if it's just silly or stressed nibnabs. So you can count on me to stay tuned.

I love my quiet times because I get them so rarely. At the shop I have to be hyper-sensitive to my customers, but when I get home I can turn on the TV and ignore it while catching up with other things. I rarely have the opportunity to really open myself up to natural sounds, but I do listen to the birds in the early morning sunrise most days. It's always been a favorite activity and time of day for me.

I tend to read posts and not listen to them just because it is easier for me to catch and skim as needed when it's in print.
