I wouldn't be surprised if it was actually from 1987 and he has had it since! He seems like a guy who holds onto his clothes and doesn't get rid of anything, even from boarding school. I can't imagine what his closet looks like...

My bet is that it was a promo freebie from one of the many things he's been to and he grabbed it off the top of a pile of stuff they haven't had time to unpack. :-)

But yeah, that sweatshirt inspires all sorts of questions. Hee hee.
