YouTube can really be quite a weird place, if you let yourself poke around it too long. If riverdancing Jack and Weeping Angels doing the Macarena seems like your kind of thing, do enjoy.

Somehow, this video reminded me of one of the odder GIF sets on Tumblr: Baby Got 'Batch. [not entirely worksafe] Because for some reason, my mind insists on proving how thoroughly odd the Sherlock fandom is at every possible moment. Not that we're suffering from lack of material on that point.

ETA: Also, there's this GIF, which suddenly seems much more funny in the aftermath of TSOT. Oh, hiatus.

Particularly liked the voguing Cyberman.

And even more fabulously, thank you for thereby (due to successful hunch as to what Dalton, Tennant and Simm were all singing/marching along to in that clip) leading me to DT's DW wrap party video, which inexplicably I'd never seen and which has left me with a big silly grin on my face (I love that DT has got himself into every bit of it he possibly can; that he was clearly liked enormously by the cast and crew that they would all do that for him; and above all that he got to sing with the band themselves!)

Oh, that was simply brilliant. I absolutely loved seeing David with familiar costars like Rose + Martha. And it all had all the joy and energy of a high school drama production (and really, at the end of the day, the same kitschy *coughs* "production value." Bless the BBC!

I just love the fact that when DT is really enthusiastic about something, he doesn't at all mind making a bit of a twit of himself showing it. And in that vid, it's the contagious nature of the enthusiasm that's really endearing.

(Also quite amused that while John Simm knows all the words to 500 Miles just as well as DT does, Timothy Dalton clearly didn't have a clue ;-) )

And if you liked that,(since apparently I am in spam-Marta-with-silly-YouTube-efforts mode!) you might enjoy DT, CT and JB's farewell tribute to Russell T Davies and Julie Gardner ;-)

Don't stop, please! Barrowman's facial expressions here are probably the funniest thing I've seen in weeks. And that so obviously bad miming of piano-playing. And that's not even getting into the delicious meta of Catherine Tate and David Tenant complaining about their own characters as someone else, and them in PJ's in bed together given the non-romantic nature of Ten + Donna, and...

Yeah, my sense of humor is overloading on this one. Fantastic.

And David Tenant in sideburns. We've now passed fantastic. I really must stop rewatching this and get ready for the day.

I wasted most of an evening watching it on a loop ;-) The cod Welsh accents had me hooting, as did DT's growing numbers of simultaneous cigarettes. The scary thing is that if you've read The Writer's Tale (RTD's epistolary-documentary book with Ben Cook on the writing of Series 4 of NuWho) it's all very believable.

I would love to see JB in musical theatre - he is said to be superb...
