Every year right around the American Superbowl, I reread lin4gondor's "Fourth and Goal," in which the author tries to explain American football to everyone's favorite captain-general.

I don't know whether it's my own confuzzlement over American football or the soft-spot author/character conversations. Whatever the reason, this one never fails to bring a smile to my face. Do check it out.

Seeing this rec brought a smile to my face! If there's anything that can compete with my love for Boromir, it's football and my favorite team! I'm so glad to hear you enjoy it, it sure was fun writing it. :-)

I don't doubt it! The love for both is plain in the story. I don't even like American football (heresy, I know) and I still enjoy re-reading it.
