On #3, I find your choice for a BBC-style high quality television program to be interesting – that was what my mind immediately jumped to, too, though for me it would be the Akallabeth. I’m imagining maybe a three part breakup: the early history through the conversation with Eonwe on mortality; the civil war through Pharazon’s taking Miriel to wife by force; and the Akallabeth itself (Sauron’s captivity, Isildur’s raid, etc.). ALthough that last could really be its own episode, I suppose: there’s enough from Pharazon’s decision to sell west to easily take up a whole episode, and a great one at that.

Oh, and Jelazakazone? I’m now imagining Alex Vlahos as a a charming young Sauron.

… 7. Thing that made you happy: The fact that the Sherlock fandom has apparently decided John [Jawn] Watson is a hedgehog. I don’t know who’s decision this was, but… yeah.

I am in need of a haircut, quite badly, an hadn't brushed my hair at that point. And our hair isn't all that different in color (mine's a dark brown, similar length + texture). So yeah, not so far off.
