LJ notifications

For some reason LiveJournal isn’t sending me many email notifications of people commenting on my post, or (as far as I can tell) replying to my comments on their post. So if you’ve replied to me and I haven’t commented back, could you drop me a link to the conversation on this post? And for the next few days while I try to get this sorted as well? I’d rather not miss anything, if it’s not too much trouble.

How frustrating. Have you checked your 'inbox' for missing comments? It might help until the email notifications catch up with you.

They do seem to be coming through there. The thing is I'm really bad about checking the site. It's very useful to me to receive an email that I have to look at in the middle of my other things to do. So I really would like to get this worked out. I've emailed LJ tech support and hope there's something fixable.
