This is pretty awesome. A contract lawyer does an analysis of Bilbo’s contract with Thorin + Co. to be their burglar. He uses American and British common law so it probably wouldn’t hold up in any court in the Shire (or Rivendell, as he actually suggests would be a good venue for litigation).
