Hey guys,

My wireless router went kaput two days ago and I’m waiting on the new one to arrive. That means if I want to be online I have to be in the den and hardwired to the modem. Given there are two of us trying to access the internet, and also I’m supposed to be on bedrest for a bad cold (to say nothing of the Nyquil-induced head-fuzzies that go with it), that’s not as easy as it sounds. So I’m here, just not around nearly as much. Hopefully this will sort itself out in a day or two.

Also, two Hunger Games goodies. First a trailer (that seems legitimate, not fanmade, but *points to above re: head-fuzzies*) for Catching Fire:

Warnings for spoilers and also for general gore, but it looks pretty awesome.

Second, a fanmade video of Haymitch’s own time in the Arena:

This is if anything even more gruesome than the trailer, but less stylized. And it’s one giant spoiler. But it’s also very well done for a fan video.

I’ve been thinking about getting back to reading the book and blogging about it, but I’m not sure if there’s an interest in it. Do people still want me to blog about the Hunger Games? I just get the vague sense that I’m a bigger fan than most people. (This is emphatically not an attempt by me to shame people into commenting; I just don’t want to overwhelm people with things no one but me is really that interested in.

Hope you soon feel better and get your internet sorted out. All I know about "The Hunger Games" is it's a book and film set in a dystopian future, so I fear I skip any posts about it.
