Squirrels are freaky rats with big poofy tails. Whether that's a good or bad thing, I leave that to my readers.

Squirrel Nut Zippers, on the other hand, are an awesome band. Just saying. :-)

I can't believe I've never heard of this band before. I adore Dixieland jazz and this was below my radar. Not any more! Off to hunt me down some squirrels....

I don't know how well-known they ever became. They were big on the local college scene when I was in high school, so I saw them perform a few times and loved their music. Glad to introduce you!
