Which totally cracked me up. I know, I know - I should give these people credit since most of my neighborhood speaks English as a second language. Still, I thought it was funny.

Quite a few years ago now: the owners of a Vietnamese egg roll stall had claimed a street corner for a festival. What they put was "bezeten loempia's" (possessed egg rolls), where they should have written "Bezet. Loempia's." (Occupied. Egg rolls.).
