It's set just after the end of Swordspoint: the trial is over, Alec's come back to Riverside, and he and Richard are out for lunch at Rosalie's. But strangers from strange lands have a way of turning up in taverns.

Eeeee Swordspoint crossover! As tempting as this sounds, I'm actually going to wait to read this, as I still unfortunately haven't finished the book, if you can believe it. (DAMN YOU REAL LIFE.)

Oh, that was great - just how I imagine a meeting between them would go! I hadn't thought about the kings and wizards, though. I love Aragorn's comment about their wizards not being reliable :>)

But I think I hate you - I was thinking of a fic where Richard and Alec end up at the Prancing Pony and meet Aragorn!!
