I've posted another BMEM piece. This time it's an essay looking at how events in the Silmarillion (particularly, the dwarves' creation myth and that exercise in divine fumbling that is the Akallabeth) might have impacted how LOTR characters viewed religion and the Valar/Eru more generally. My focus is on Gondor, but I also make some comments that are relevant to other characters as well.
