As you know, I'm just a casual watch it once and forget it fan but I felt annoyed that we were never told how Sherlock's death was faked or why it had to be, which is utterly convincing in Doyle.
I also hated all the condescending nodding to fandom. The only shows where the cast talk to the audience are usually pantomimes!
