SWG challenge piece finished

Currently weighing in at 6,204 words, the first draft is finished. I want to reread it tomorrow and hopefully catch a few typos (I kept switching back into the first person without meaning to; I've been reading too much Sherlock Holmes fanfic; and also using a truly ungodly amount of semicolons and parentheticals), but I think with just a bit of spit-polish this one might actually be presentable.

I'm also laughing at the thought that this is what's left when I make a wilfull choice to lighten up on the philosophy. This is apparently just who I am now.
