I swear it makes sense in my head. Really. Rather than trying to make the connection clear to non-Martas, I'll just share this recording of Oscar Peterson's "Hymn to Freedom," which (distressingly) most people my age seem to connect to the House finale rather than the fine piece of music it is in its own right. Still worth a listen.
