Pretty much what the subject line says. I discovered a forgotten box of Tetley's at the back of my cupboard. Still within its expiration date. That was the one thing that made yesterday truly frustrating: I was out of tea, and the store was out of the smaller box I could have bought with the cash I have on hand.
Also: a few more slices of bread, and an almost-full jar of strawberry jam. One of the few perishables I still had on hand.
Just when did I become so thoroughly British? Because the thought that I can have dead leaves steeped in boiling water makes a day when food choices have to be creative much more manageable, really.
