Mmm, Timaeus! We just had a job talk candidate who did a bang up job with Timaeus and impressed the heck out of us with his PowerPoint skills and ability to give a 45 minute lecture without notes. Too bad he sounds like... us. As in, like a grad student: young, with a particular brand of self-deprecation that 30% of people over 60 in the room were not grasping as actually saying, via irony, "Look, I'm not saying I'm totally correct, but I've got the evidence to have the right to my theory, here."
But enjoy the Plato and a relaxing weekend! You deserve it! Hope the research continues apace - it's so *nice* when it feels like you're getting somewhere, or at least, you can see how the material is actually helping you.
